How to Track RSVPs

Stay on Top of Your Guest List with Real-Time RSVP Tracking

Once you’ve sent your online invitations, the next step is keeping track of who’s coming to your event. Punchbowl makes it easy to track RSVPs in real time — whether you’ve sent birthday invitations, baby shower invites, or invitations for any other celebration.

Each time a guest opens or responds to your online invitation, your guest list updates automatically, showing you the latest RSVP status. Follow the steps below to monitor responses and manage your guest list with ease.

How RSVP Tracking Works

As soon as your guests open and view your invitation, your guest list updates to show:

• Date Sent
• Most Recent Date Viewed

• RSVP Response: Yes (Y), No (N), or Undecided (L)

  
  

Your Invitation Dashboard will also display a graph showing the total number of guests and a visual breakdown of RSVP responses.

Step 1: Log In to Your Punchbowl Account

Start by logging into your account at Punchbowl.com.

Be sure to use the same method you originally used to sign up — for example, if you created your account using Sign up with Apple, you’ll need to select Sign in with Apple.

Step 2: Locate and Manage Your Invitation

Once logged in, find the event you’d like to manage and click Manage Invitation.

From here, you’ll access your event dashboard, where you can view your guest list, message guests, and monitor responses.

Step 3: View Your RSVP Summary

In the top right corner of your invitation dashboard, you’ll see an RSVP Status graph showing:

• The total number of guests invited

• How many guests RSVP’d “Yes,” “No,” or “Undecided”

  
  

Guests who haven’t opened their invitation or responded yet will be included in the Undecided section.

Step 4: Review Your Guest List

Scroll down to your Guest List to see detailed RSVP information for each guest, including:

• Name and Email/Phone Number
• Guests/Plus Ones (if applicable)
• Date Sent and Date Viewed

• Current RSVP Status

  
  

You’ll have complete visibility into who has responded, who hasn’t opened the invitation yet, and who might need a follow-up.

Step 5: Manage Your Guest Responses

From your Guest List, you can take further actions as needed:

• Edit a guest’s RSVP if they contact you with an update.
• Connect families or couples to ensure an accurate headcount.
• Resend invitations to guests who haven’t opened theirs yet.

• Follow up with guests who haven’t responded to encourage timely replies
