I have a failed email or phone number notification. What can I do?
Are you seeing one of the following messages on your Punchbowl Invitation or Digital Card?
- Delivery has previously failed, please verify the email address. If you believe this is an error, contact us at email@example.com and include the failed email address.
- Delivery has previously failed, please verify the phone number. If you believe this is an error, contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and include the failed number.
Punchbowl attempted to send an email or text message to the address or phone number provided but the message could not be delivered to its destination. When the information is provided to us, we'll list a reason for the failed delivery.
For email, the most common reason is "Email address doesn't exist". This indicates the recipient's email provider told us that address does not exist. We would recommend closely checking the spelling of the email to ensure it is accurate and making any necessary adjustments.
For phone numbers, the most common reason is that the phone number is a landline that does not accept text messages. We would recommend checking for an alternate number that does accept text messages.
