Can I update the subject line of my Invitation email?
When your guests receive the invitation in their email, the subject line will read:
Punchbowl Invitation: *Your Event Title Here*
If you'd like to give your recipients a bit more clarity, you can update the subject line for your event on the Invitation Options page.
Note: When you send your guests a text message instead of an email, they will not receive this customized message. It is only sent to guests who receive the invitation as an email.
Web
- If you have not yet sent your invitation, you can access invitation options on the Add Guests page by clicking the Set Options button. Turn ON the Customize message to guests option, click Edit and make any changes you'd like.
- If you have already sent your invitation, the options can be adjusted from the Manage Invitation page. Once there, click on the Invitation Options button on the right side of the page. Turn ON the Customize message to guests option, click Edit and make any changes you'd like.
iOS & Android Apps
- If you are using the mobile app and have not yet sent your invitation, you can access the invitation options on the Review and Send page by tapping on the Invitation Options button at the bottom of the page. Tap on the Customize email to guests option. From there, you will be able to update both the Subject and Message of your invitation email. Once you've made all of the necessary changes, click on the green Save button.
- If you are using the mobile app and have already sent your invitation, the options can be adjusted by tapping on the Dashboard tab and selecting your invitation. Once there, you can tap on the Options button. Tap on the Customize email to guests option. From there, you will be able to update both the Subject and Message of your invitation email. Once you've made all of the necessary changes, click on the green Save button.
