Can I Update the Subject Line of My Invitation Email?

When your guests receive the invitation in their email, the subject line will read: 


Punchbowl Invitation: [Your Event Title Here]


If you'd like to give your recipients a bit more clarity, you can update the subject line for your event on the Invitation Options page.


Web

  • Before sending the invitation, go to the Add Guests page and click Set Options. Enable Customize Message to Guests, then click Edit to make changes.
  • If the invitation is already sent, access the Manage Invitation page. Click Invitation Options and turn on Customize Message to Guests, then click Edit to make adjustments.


iOS & Android Apps

  • Before sending, access the Review and Send page on the mobile app and tap Invitation Options. Enable Customize Email to Guests, then update the Subject and Message as needed, then hit Save.
  • If the invitation is already sent, go to the Dashboard tab and select your invitation. Tap Options, then Customize Email to Guests. Update the Subject and Message, then save your changes.


Note: When you send your guests a text message instead of an email, they will not receive this customized message. It is only sent to guests who receive the invitation as an email.
