How to Send an eCard by Text Message
To send your free eCards by text message, start by selecting your favorite design on Punchbowl. Once you’ve customized your eCard with a message, photo (if applicable), or an optional gift card, you’ll move on to building your recipient list.
When you add recipients, simply enter each person’s name and phone number in the designated fields. Punchbowl will automatically recognize that you want to send your eCard via text message.
NOTE: You can send digital greeting cards via text message OR via email. If you want to send your card to a recipient via text AND email, you will need to enter their email and phone number as separate recipients.

Sending eCards Through the Punchbowl App
If you’re using the iOS or Android app, sending eCards by text becomes even easier. The app can automatically access your phone’s contact list so you can quickly select recipients without typing in each number manually.
After granting permission to import your contacts, you’ll see a list of friends and family you can add to your eCard. From there, personalize your message, preview your eCard, and tap Send. Can I Send eCards to International Phone Numbers?
At this time, Punchbowl can only send text messages to U.S. and Canadian phone numbers. If your recipient lives outside those regions, don’t worry—you can still share your digital greeting card with them by sending a direct link.
